Easy Waiver Question

Postby cabrego » Mon Nov 19, 2012 9:19 pm

I am new to FF and was wondering what the downside for me to make 4, 5, or even 6. Waiver claims.

Will they all count agaisnt me? My league is not usually waiver wire heavy but I have some pick ups I'd like to secure-will all claims count against me? Like if there are only 5 other separate waiver claims will the rest of mine waivers count against me?

Some leagues are set up to allow only a certain number of waiver claims. Just check your league settings to see if yours is one of them. If there's not a season limit, which most of them don't, then you're fine! the WW is set up usually just to make it fair to the league so you can't just grab up everyone. you decide which pickup is more important to you, then you get bumped to the bottom of the WW rankings. the amount of pickups just means the amount of time you spend at the bottom of the rankings, which could hurt you if you want a player bc it will put several other teams in front of you in the pecking order... its designed to just make you put "value" on your WW pickups

Aaron summed it up. As long as you don't have a limit according to your league settings, then you should be fine!!
