Cam Newton has been disappointing all year long. And Chad Henne ripped up the Texans defense last week. Am I crazy to think about starting Henne over Newton? The Philadelphia secondary has been pretty inconsistent.
All TD's 6 points, 50 passing yards-(1pt) 20 rushing yards-(1pt) Interceptions (minus 2) lost fumble (minus 5)
nope you're not crazy, I only have Cam in one league and seriously considering starting Kaepernick vs NO(assuming I get him off waivers ofc) over him even with him going against Philly. As for if I would sit him over Henne I don't think I would but this is one of those situations I could see myself changing my mind at least twice and make last minute lineup changes. Sorry couldn't be more help

agree. newton isnt putting points up. keep updated on what the jags are going to do this week and whether they will give gabbert another chance or not. if any other QBs are free pick them up. like Palmer or even maybe Fitz. has a good matchup against indy this week
I can see why you have this dilemma, but don't think I could advise you to sit Newton for Henne. I like Henne as a QB, and think he's better than average. However, he caught HOU off guard this week. Although TEN isn't very good against QBs (8th best for QBs), they will be able to plan for him this week. Henne might get you 20 points and might get you 8. Cam's ceiling is higher and his floor is lower. PHI isn't a bad matchup, either. Could Henne score you 24 and Cam only get you 15? Yep. But the reverse is more likely...I think you should start Cam.
