Who to drop? WHIR

Postby oakstreetboy » Tue Nov 20, 2012 1:54 pm

So waivers run tonight, and I am looking to make a few moves. We have deep rosters (18) and we start 9 (1qb, 2rb, 3wr, 1te, 1def, 1k). My team is below.

QB: RG3, Romo
RB: Richardson, Reese, Murray, Stewart, Beanie, Ballard
WR: Harvin, Cobb, Cruz, James Jones, Maclin, Titus Young
TE: Gronk
K: Matt Bryant
D: Seattle, Cincy

So Cincy D is one i'm going to drop, I had to carry them last week while Seattle was on bye. I obviously need to waiver a TE with Gronk out, but I'd also like to try and get one of the three RBs (Bryce Brown, Ronnie Hillman or Parmalee (JAX)). I can't promise I'd use one of them this week, but if McFadden comes back, I'd probably start one of these guys over the rest of my RBs.

So who would you drop? Gronk? Our playoffs are 14-16, and if there is any chance he might come back for 15 or 16, I'd sure like to have him. I'm probably going to make the playoffs, 2 games up with 2 to play.

I was thinking Titus Young, since he's suspended and hasn't been very good (neither has Maclin). Plus since Detroit plays on Thursday, if I did drop Young, no one could pick him up until waivers are run again next week. So I could technically get him back if I wanted.

What about Romo? I'm not sitting RG3 anytime soon, but if he did get hurt, Romo is better than anything on the waiver wire, due to our deep rosters.

Or do nothing? Drop Cincy for Myers or Rudolph and stick with what I have.

Please leave a link and I will help in return! Thank you!
