flex: Decker or Ballard

I've read experts that project Ballard having a bigger day vs. BUF than Decker vs. KC, and vice versa. Who would you start in your flex, and why?

That's tough. The thing about Ballard is that Buffalo is a VERY weak run defense. The thing about Decker is that Peyton Manning is an amazing quarterback who will get him the ball. Now, both of them also have a timeshare thing, going on. Ballard with Donald Brown, and Decker with Demaryius Thomas. That being said, Demaryius Thomas is the clear #1 in Denver, whereas Ballard gets more touches than Brown. So I'd go with Vick Ballard.

Very, very close. Leaning ballard as well though, when in doubt always side with the rb when there's no clear cut winner. He's guaranteed his touches, could get in on the goal line etc, whereas who knows with decker. Decker's ceiling is probably higher if you're in a gambling situation this week but ballard's definitely the more solid option I would be rolling with more times than not here.

Decker for sure, like the matchup vs KC, better than Ballards

Thanks everyone. I was probably over-thinking it. Decker has a nose for the end-zone and runs routes perfectly. The obsessive, perfectionistic workhorse that he is, Peyton appreciates a guy who runs routes well and has a nose for the end-zone like Decker does. That's why he has 8 TD's in 10 games.

I kind of wanted to start Ballard because I was happy to pick him up this week. It aint gonna happen. I still want to make sure he's the #1 guy in IND going forward.

On another note, which TE would you start:
Jason Witten vs. DAL
Vernon Davis vs. NO

Dallas has surrendered more than almost every team to TE's this year
Vernon Davis is one of the best athletes in the NFL, and keep in mind Kapernick has been named the starter.

I would say Decker. Much better chance for a touchdown IMO

Davis for all the reasons you gave me plus I can't trust Romo in a big game.
