Just traded CJ Spiller for Demaryius

Postby TitsMcGahee » Thu Nov 22, 2012 11:44 pm

Standard scoring here is my roster

Before:

QB: RG3
RB: RAY RICE
RB: CJ SPILLER
WR: AJ GREEN
WR: CECIL SHORTS
TE: BRENT MEYERS
FLEX: RONNIE HILLMAN

After:
QB: RG3
RB: RAY RICE
RB: STEVEN JACKSON
WR: AJ GREEN
WR: DEMARYIUS THOMAS
TE: BRENT MEYERS
FLEX: RONNIE HILLMAN

BENCH:
TE: ROB GRONKOWSKI
WR: PERCY HARVIN
RB: BRYCE BROWN
RB: MIKEL LESHOURE
WR: CECIL SHORTS
QB: ANDY DALTON

Evaluate my trade. Is my team better now? Also noted, my team is 10-1, and our playoffs start with a bye in Week 14. Demaryius plays Baltimore, and Cleveland Week 15 and 16, and Spiller plays Seattle and Miami. Also, Fred Jackson is back now even though apparently less carries, and I can play some of the RBS that are always scoring points on my bench - SJAX and LESHOURE, and also can potentially play Hillman/Bbrown if they fulfill their upside. What yall think?

I just don't see the wisdom in trading when you are 10-1. The trade seems to be fine since Spiller splits time and you can play Leshoure, but if Fred Jackson gets hurt again you gave up a special rb. Thomas improves you some, but your rb two is a bit weak for now. Hopefully Leshoure keeps getting the ball.

Meh if Hillman lives up to expectations then you did absolutely fine.

Or Bryce Brown who I am actually higher on than Hillman. It was basically more to utilize my bench RB depth in LeShoure, SJax, BBrown, HIllman, and boost my receivers who are now AJ Green, DT, Percy harvin (Flex).

I guess. I'm not big on brown because the eagles can even use a star running back properly when they have one.... its sad

Yeah it was sad, but I see him being a true work horse, and he has a favorable match up. He should fill into a McCoy type role with them so I don't see why he won't produce similar to McCoy which is like 10 pts a week.

Looks pretty solid to me. I like Demaryius though.
