I don't think the Indy rush defense is as awful as others suggest. They've only allowed 100 plus yards rushing 3 times. Detroit is a throw first offense (thankfully, b/c I have Stafford!) I also don't think Cobb is going to suddenly become a non-factor with Jennings back. He might be a little riskier play this week, but if your league scores for return yards, then I'd put him in. Hilton could be in for a big game again as well. So, this is a tough one for me. I normally like to play a RB in my flex spot though, and Leshoure should be good for 1 TD. I'd go Leshoure or Cobb.
Thanks for your help!
PPR for QB, RB, WR; 1 pt. per 10 yds.; 6 pt. TD; 1 pt. per 15 return yds. QB: Stafford, Newton RB: Spiller, Sproles WR: VJax, Cobb TE: Myers W/R: Ridley Bench: McCoy, Mathews, Bryce Brown, Kaepernick, B. Powell, Gronkowski
I agree, Indy rush D isn't as bad as some make it out to be. I'm done suggesting RBs facing Indy, half of the time the faired well and the other times sub par (Rashad Jennings comes to mind...). I can't suggest LeShoure this week. Reece may be a risky play if DMC does return this week so I'd wait and see come Sunday morning. As a former Jennings owner, the fact that he may see some action this week means NOTHING. They they said that 4 or 5 times this season, and for one reason or another there were setbacks. He is also the return man so even if Jennings returns he wouldn't be shut out. Slowing down? In my league he has averaged 28.5 points the last 5 weeks. Only Megatron and Andre Johnson did better in that span of time. He's a must start even if Jennings returns.
The guys I'd be starting: WR1 Jones WR2 Bryant RB1 Spiller RB2 Brown (McCoy is out again so start him with confidence) W/R Reece (if DMC returns roll with Blackmon) W/R/T Cobb
I would leave the lineup the way it is. I like Blackmon and Hilton, but I think Leshoure destroys the Colts. Whenever I have a tough choice at flex and it's between a good RB and a good WR, I will almost always lean with the RB who is guaranteed touches.
QB - Drew Brees, Tony Romo RB - Adrian Peterson, Trent Richardson, Alfred Morris, Jacquizz Rodgers WR - Brandon Marshall, Julio Jones, Vincent Jackson, Anquan Boldin, Golden Tate TE - Heath Miller DEF - Rotating K - Justin Tucker
I'd pull Reece off of that starting lineup. Darren McFadden will probably(maybe) be back this week. I think you're taking a big risk with Reece getting enough touches. I'd move Bryce Brown up to that running back position and throw T.Y. Hilton in at one of your flex positions. He's been playing hot lately and a return-man is always dangerous.
Julio didn't have a great fantasy game, because he really didn't need to. You had to play him. Some guys you just have to start each week and sometimes it's not going to work out. Look at the Brees owners...
Leshoure is definitely your weakest link here, no doubt. I agree with Tindo, your best line up is in. Don't try to fix what isn't broken. Good luck to ya! Oh, and thanks for helping me!
