too many choices....please help!!!

Postby wtr23 » Tue Nov 27, 2012 9:46 pm

I started out this fantasy season 7-0, much to my surprise. Since then, due to various injuries and underperforming players I've lost 4 of my last 5 games (clinched a playoff spot 2 weeks ago, phew). I have several guys to choose from this week, and I'd like a few opinions on who I should start. We start 2 RB, 2 WR, and 1 flex (W/R/T).

I need: both RBs, WR2, and flex

My choices:

RB B. Brown- amazing display of skills Monday night, and McCoy may miss another week. I'm licking my chops.
DMC- team mates are saying he may return this week, and it's a great matchup if he does. If he starts I would probably start him in the flex for now.
Moreno- Got the start last week in Denver and another favorable matchup this week.

WR Cruz- He's been slumping, has only 6 catches over the last 2 contests. He found the endzone last week and WAS is definitely giving up yards, but will it be to Nicks or Cruz?
Bess- Another excellent matchup vs NE, teams have focused on Hartline and Bess is scoring big.
Edelman- Increased role with gronk out, I expect big things out of him. Not as good a matchup as Bess though.
Amendola- banged up but he did play last week in a very limited role, even though he was doubtful. Not a great matchup but he tore San Fran to shreds last time they played.

My starters for this week look like this:
WR1 Wayne
WR2 Cruz
RB1 Moreno
RB2 Brown
Flex Bess

let me know if you would make any changes, leave a link and WHIR as always ;-D

I think you've got the right line up set already. I like Bess over Edelman this week, but slightly. If DMC plays, I'd play him over Moreno. Good luck!

I agree with Woowoo- you gotta wait until Sunday morning, where they reveal whether DMC is the starter or not. If yes, him over Bess. If not, Bess. And you gotta stick with Victor Cruz, as you said Washington secondary sucks. He'll have a good game

Like I said-- gotta wait until Sunday morning to make the final decision. If it looks like either one is going to be a starter, yeah put him in

FA pool is shallow...I think I have the best ones available, but here's some possible pick ups (in order of interest): Jennings, D. Williams, A. Green, R. Brown, D. Brown, Ballard, Dwyer, Redman....

I think Brown for sure, and I think Wayne, Cruz and Bess are all in as well. The final RB slot you have to wait to see if McFadden is a go, if not it pretty much makes your decision for you. And FYI, TB and CLE have been pretty good against the run this year, so not as favorable as you might think.

Help with mine?

While I'm at it I might as well post the WR FA pool, a little more to work with here: D. Moore, Broyles, Blackmon, S. Moss, Givens, LaFell, J. Jones, Stokley. I had D Moore but dropped him after 2 consecutive 1 rec games. Looking at playoff time Bess may have the better schedule, and the raiders are jumping ship and it's getting uglier each week. Any reason to get Moore, or am I better off sticking with Bess for the rest of the season?
