TE help

Postby patrickryan39 » Wed Nov 28, 2012 9:09 am

I had gronk on my team and my playoffs start next week and I don't have a real tight end yet. I picked up Brandon Meyers from Oakland but don't know if I want to ride with him to the playoffs. Some guys available are Kyle rudolf, Greg Olsen, Dwayne Allen, Dustin Keller, Dennis pita, mercedes lewis and Dallas Clark. Any help would be great,

Ya, same story here... ran with Myers last week. I am going to give Mercedes Lewis a shot this week, it looks like his upside is better with Henne.

That said, I'd go with Rudolf if he were available in my league.

I'd go Lewis or Pita.

Go with Lewis. Buffalo is a good matchup.

Yep I agree... Myers isn't a great start this week against the Browns who rank 1st in defending the TE. Lewis wouldn't be a bad pick for this week, especially against the bills, and the way that Henne has been playing.

I would play Dallas Clark. Denver has given up lots of TDs to tight ends and has given up the 3rd most points to the position. I think Pitta only had one catch against PIT earlier in year, and the other options just don't have great match-ups, even Lewis. I like Clark here.

Thanks for your help.

Thanks for helping with mine....just noticing so just now getting back with you. In 12 leagues this year and Myers and Rudolph make up the majority of my TE's. Rudolph passed concussion tests but screwed up his shoulder on that same hit he took. Myers has tough matchup but has been VERY reliable for 5+ points every week. That said, I like Lewis too. Picked up Henne in a couple leagues and Blackmon is finally rosterable. With Shorts there too, should open things up for Lewis. Henne does seem to like him...Good luck! ;-D
