TE help

Postby patrickryan39 » Wed Nov 28, 2012 9:27 am

Sorry, I posted this in the wrong forum

I had gronk on my team and my playoffs start next week and I don't have a real tight end yet. I picked up Brandon Meyers from Oakland but don't know if I want to ride with him to the playoffs. Some guys available are Kyle rudolf, Greg Olsen, Dwayne Allen, Dustin Keller, Dennis pita, mercedes lewis and Dallas Clark. Any help would be great,

myers will be the most consistent out of the bunch, give you 4 or 5 points every game with the rare game of an added td. i'd still prefer rudolph, especially while harvin is out. if rudolph can go this week, i'd probably start him.

Is this standard league or Points per reception? Brandon Myers is a good option in PPR since he seems to catch five passes a game. I'm in the same boat as you and I'm probably looking at Rudolph this week ( if he's cleared of concussion, and harvin out) or Marcedes Lewis. It's slim pickings though

My picks would be Mercedes Lewis or Dallas Clark. Henne seems to like Lewis and Lewis is athletic enough to be a threat if jax can get near the end zone.. I myself am riding Dallas Clark because he's starting to come around with freeman and I like the matchup this week because you know Denver can score so Tampa will be throwing a lot.
