standard scoring league

Reece has mcfadden in his presence, Wells seems somewhat injured.
Blackmon DNP thursday, steve Johnson seems fine.

==> blackmon or johnson as WR? and than Reece, Wells or Blackmon/johnson at flex position?

Blackmon is certainly worth monitoring, but I don't think his missing practice thrusday is anything more then a warning flag. I don't think he is in serious risk of missing the game or even missing much work in the game. But definitely keep an eye on it before game time. he and Wells both play at noon so you can make a swap late if you have to.

you where right, blackmon and shorts where only given rest to not get overworked,
but still, why blackmon over wells? (i understand you don't want reece, he is a dice-roller this week)

Wells offensive situation is pretty bad and he's not talented enough to overcome that imo. Don't get me wrong, it's really close and 9 times out of 10 in a situation of similar options, I always go with the running back because he's guaranteed to touch the ball. I wouldn't blame you at all for going with Wells.
