Scary situation in KC right now as a player and another person have been shot at the Chiefs facility.

No official ID on the player yet. Rumor currently saying it's LB Jovan Belcher. Regardless of who it is, thoughts and prayers to the family and to the Chiefs organization. No one should have to deal with this.

Chiefs linebacker Jovan Belcher and his girlfriend, who died Saturday morning in what Kansas City police described as a murder-suicide, had a 3-month-old daughter together

Apparently murdered his girlfriend then went to the KC stadium, coaching staff - rumored to be Romeo Cronell among them - tried to calm him down. Once police arrived he then took his own life. Shocking and tragic.
Thoughts and condolences to family and loved ones of Belcher and his girlfriend.
