WR: Shorts or Hartline?

Postby steelglam » Sun Dec 02, 2012 11:41 am

Which one of these guys would you go with today at WR? C. Shorts @ BUF or B. Hartline vs. NE? Shorts has obviously been the better of the two lately, but Hartline's got a great matchup (and he played really well against NE last year).

Thanks in advance!

I like Shorts. Been on a roll and way more likely to find the endzone. Not high on Hartline lately.

I'm starting Shorts myself, between hin and Hartline I'd still take Shorts. Good report with his QB, and Buffalo is a good match up.

Thanks, folks. I have a follow-up question, then. Would you start Hartline over Hakeem Nicks @ WAS for the other WR position? I was planning on starting Nicks, but with Hartline's matchup, maybe I should reconsider. Nicks hasn't been very reliable this year.

Hmm, I would feel safe with Nick against WAS. Not sure what Hartline will do really, but I see a good game from Nicks. Not great, but good.

Yeah, you're right. I'll go with my initial plans and stick with Nicks. His upside is probably higher, and the matchup against the Redskins is excellent. Thanks a bunch.

Shorts and Nicks, IMO. Hartline's upside is limited to PPR leagues at this point.
