Freeman or Stafford....WHIR as always!

So I'm in a dilemma with Stafford going against GB this weekend. The last outing these guys shared, Stafford was not good. I really get concerned when the Lions have to travel to GB and add to that, they are not playing for anything. Also, outside of Calvin, the WR core is decimated!

Freeman has been cooling a little but he does have a pretty good matchup and they are playing for a wild card seed. When Freeman has been on, he has been more productive than Stafford, especially early in the season.

Will Stafford play catch-up, air it out 50 plus times? Can the WR's get open enough? Will Freeman light it up to keep pace in the Wild Card race?

I'd go with Stafford, CJ has been going off and I can see this being a high scoring game. Freeman is a good game from Doug Martin from only getting to toss the rock 20-25 times. No such chance from Stafford who will air it out 45-50 times this game (he'll need to!)

I can see a 3-4 TD game, 1-2 INT's for 350+ yards...roll with Matt.

Freeman is tempting, especially again the Eagles ... but I think Stafford has more upside, and get the start.


Freeman = safe-ish play against a bad Eagles pass-D, while Stafford = riskier play with more reward potential.
