WR Playoff help! pick 3

Postby patrickryan39 » Thu Dec 06, 2012 11:36 pm

So I had Brandon Myers playing tonight and he got me 0 points so i need to hit a home run here with this. I have mike Wallace, miles Austin, Steve smith, Pierre Garcon and Randall Cobb. Right now I have Austin, Cobb and Garcon playing. I know Ben is back but its being said Wallace wont take as many snaps and smith has been VERY inconsistent so, I keep going back and fourth. Any help would be great!!!

I'd def go with Cobb and Garçon, but I'm not overly confident with Austin. He's nursing an injury and dez and witten seem to get more target over him. Smith has a decent game against Atlanta as the Falcons could put up a lot of points and force Cam to throw a lot. I think I'd feel a little more confident starting Smith over Austin.

Thanks for your help on my question!

I like Cobb, Wallace, and Garcon. Big Ben returns this week and that only helps Wallace from a fantasy perspective- more targets, longer drives and more chances to get redzone looks and possibly a score. Cobb has just been outstanding this season, I can't see any reason why you bench him here. Garcon hasn't been back for very long, but it's clear that he was missed as he recovered from the foot injury, and he is RGIII's favorite target. Austin has been too up and down for me to consider a starter, plus Dez Bryant seems to be racking up the points in Dallas anyway. The return of Murray gives me that much more of a reason to avoid austin.

I think I would go Cobb, Garcon, and Smith. As inconsistent as Smith has been I expect Cam to be throwing quite a bit.

I also had Myers playing tonight...I feel your pain.
