Dwyer or Matthews / Vernon D. or M. Bennett? WHIR

Playoff time! Hate to admit it, but I think Ryan Matthews is staying on the bench - where I'm torn is Vernon Davis or Martelus Bennett? While he's done nothing the past few weeks, VD can go OFF, but Marty B has a great match-up.

My opponent has Eli at QB and I have Cruz, so if i start Marty B and Eli goes off, I somewhat cancel that out since those 2 are bound to ball out if so...

If Eli bombs, then you have two guys potentially giving you duds. It works both ways, so don't pay much attention to who the other guy is playing. I think Bennett has the better shot because you know he's going to get some balls thrown his way. You can't say that about Davis. So far, Kaep hasn't shown a connection with Vernon. Plus, the Giants game projects to be a shootout, you can't say the same with the 49er's game. Kaep might not throw much. Definitely go Dwyer. Mathews is arguably one of the top 5 biggest busts in fantasy this year.

I would bench Mathews this week, but I think it is a coin flip. At TE I would lean towards Bennett based on his match-up.

i have vdavis and im benching him, i know he can go off but i look at is like.... i can live with getting 5-10 pts from someone else more than i can live w hoping that he can go off and then get 0pts you never want 0 from a player

I have same situation with Dwyer,and Mathews. I am in PPR league, and Mathews has been consistent,but week numbers all year. I am benching him for Dwyer in my Flex.

I think i would go with Vernon this week. Kap is the real deal and buys alot of time. I think with manningham out, he will get more touches.

Mathews rides the bench, and I like Bennett over Davis at TE.
