PPR scoring, all td's = 6. My team has been wrecked by injuries (McCoy, Harvin, now Dez), but I earned a bye to get me through to this week. My roster:
QB - Romo, R Wilson
RB - McCoy, Sproles, B Brown, Dwyer
WR - Wayne, Cobb, Bryant, M WIlliams
TE - Witten
DST - Rams
K - Tynes
Up against a bunch of very hot players this week, and I really feel like I need to take some risks to win. Lineup choices to make:
QB - Romo v PIT or Wilson @ BUF - I originally grabbed Wilson for this matchup, with Pittsburgh's pass defense so good. Now Romo will be minus Dez (or with a less than healthy Dez). I don't know if Wilson can put up a monster number, though I suppose against an average defense it's possible.
RB - Sproles v TB or Dwyer @ DAL - Tampa run defense awesome, but Sproles not really a running back anyway, just a receiver who lines up in the backfield. Dwyer has shown burst, but isn't a high upside guy now that Ben is back and slinging the rock. Really hoping McCoy isn't declared active for this week so Brown doesn't get touches cut into.
WR - Don't think I really have a choice here. When Dez is hurt, he's a decoy only, and isn't going to be getting the 10+ targets I need him to get. Not to mention his matchup is horrible. WIlliams is going against that horrible NO defense.
DST - AP scares me to death, but I feel like the STL defense has been playing really well. Jets and Miami also available. Stay put or make a switch?
I need the highest upside plays possible here, then just need a couple of them to come through. Thoughts? WHIR, thanks!
