One RB Slot -- 5 Less-Than-Stellar Options

Postby GoDeacs » Wed Dec 12, 2012 9:44 am

I have one (1) open RB slot and five (5) questionable options. Here they are in no particular order:

Darren McFadden v. KC
Joique Bell v. ARI
LeSean McCoy v. CIN
Alex Green v. CHI
Beanie Wells v. DET

And a quick question on DEF: Miami (v. JAX) or New England (v. SF)???

Thanks for the help!

IMO, DMC is the must start here and is head/shoulders above the rest. He had a solid day against Denver last week until getting hurt (sigh) but he's back to his 100% and should do well against a demoralized and terrible KC defense. I wouldn't touch the rest!

I think the best choice you can make is DM. The KC defense is terrible and McFadden showed some explosiveness last week. Joique bell would be 2nd due to his sporadic amount of carries. McCoy is officially out this week. Hope this helps. Good luck.

I can tell you as a Lions fan with NFL Sunday Ticket, Joique Bell should, at the very least, split carries with LeShoure.

The Sunday Night game was no fluke; Bell is more productive than LeShoure when given the chance.

Probably only a viable option in PPR Leagues.

Word out of Detriot is he will get more touches going forward.

I have Bell above McCoy (health) and Wells. Would have to do a little more digging on McFadden and Green to see if I prefer them over Bell.

Good Luck

If McFadden is back at 100% that pretty much settles the issue.

I'm eliminating McCoy and Wells from contention leaving me with the following options:

McFadden
Bell
Green

McFadden has been a real pain in my a** all year long so my hesitation with him is purely based on personal bias (and his health status).

I watched Bell's Sunday night game last weekend, and I was impressed! My concern with him is that Leshoure seems to be a TD vulture in/around the goal line.

And Green's matchup versus CHI isn't great (although they did give up 150+ yards on the ground to A. Peterson last week)

Decisions Decisions!

This is DMac's shot at saving your fantasy season. Dream match up and healthy (ish). Gotta go with him

No question about it, DMC is the choice! He's got a very good matchup, is as healthy as he's been all year, and will get a ton of touches. Bell is close but I don't think he'll get as many touches....also go with Miami defense. They are solid at home and jax is injury riddled...shorts is probably out

Pick 1 out of these 3 for me. Bryce Brown, McFadden, and Green-Ellis
