RB2, WRs and Flex help needed!

Postby guyincognito » Wed Dec 12, 2012 11:21 am

Sorry in advance for the multitude of questions, but I feel like I have too many options and not sure which way to go.

I need help selecting my roster for this week. RB1 is a lock with Martin, but at RB2 do I start D.Murray with a tough opponent, but a heavy workload, R.Mathews with a great matchup, but has done nothing to invoke confidence in him this season or D.Wilson who may or may not start, but could be in line for double digit touches regardless this week against a very soft run D in Atl on turf. At WR 1+2 do I go with Wayne, who has been solid all season, Jones who has the potential to be a monster each and every week, however, is very inconsistant, Welker facing the 49ers stout D, Garcon who might be without RG3 or Smith who's coming off two consecutive 100+ yd games and seems to be clicking with Cam again? Lastly, at the flex, do plug in another WR or do I go 3 RBs? Please help, struggling with decisions!

Here is my roster:

12 team, H2H, NON-PPR, 6pts/TD, 1 pt/10yds rush/rec; bonuses +1 for TD 50+ yds, +2 for 100+ yds rush/rec, +4 for 200+ yds rush/rec, -1 for fumble
QB - M.Ryan
RB - D.Martin
RB - D.Murray
WR - R.Wayne
WR - J.Jones
TE - O.Daniels
Flex - W.Welker
D/ST - Chicago
K - Hartley
Bench - S.Smith (Car)
Bench - P.Garcon
Bench - D.Amendola
Bench - D.Wilson
Bench - R.Mathews

To me, it comes down to 3 players

I'm leaving Smith out because they are traveling to the west coast and you have options that are at least equal or better

I'm leaving Wilson off because you don't need the "Boom or Bust" potential he provides.

If Murray is healthy, I'm starting him over Mathews. I think we all see Pittsburgh and Baltimore and think "tough D" but they are no longer elite.

that leaves Mathews and Welker - PPR would make this easy (Welker) but it isn't.
Welker keeps sticking in my head, just a better player

So, essentially I agree with the LU you have posted

good luck

Looks good to me. If I were to change something it might be brown for welker.

You can't be blamed for leaving Matthews out he's been such a bust this year. If RG3 plays you have to find a way to get Garcon in there. Don't be to weary of Welker... The niners have been amazing against the wideout this year but players like Victor Cruz, Amendola, and Harvin have all had moderate success against them.

I like the lineup that you have set and wouldn't change it.
