Rookie Semi-Finalist advice? WHIR

Postby JTXperience » Thu Dec 13, 2012 12:07 am

So I made it to the semi finals in my first year of fantasy football. What can I say, the waiver wire was very nice to me... Anyway, this is the hardest matchup I've faced in awhile and I need some advice. If I win this, the championship is almost guaranteed.

My Lineup:
QB: Matthew Stafford
RB: Bryce Brown
RB: Knowshon Moreno
Flex: Demarco Murray
WR: Demaryius Thomas
WR: Steve Smith
WR: Danario Alexander
TE: Brandon Myers
K: Justin Tucker
DST: Denver
B: Colin Kaepernick
B: Chris Johnson
B: Mikel Leshoure
B: Miles Austin
B: Chris Givens
B: Mike Thomas (pay no attention, the waiver wires are closed...)
B: Martellus Bennett

My Opponent's Lineup:
QB: Josh Freeman
RB: Adrian Peterson
RB: Doug Martin
Flex: Ryan Matthews
WR: Randall Cobb
WR: Mike Williams
WR: Stevie Johnson
TE: Jason Witten
K: Blair Walsh
DST: Tampa Bay

A few things: my league is a standard 12-man league. Return touchdowns are added to both the player AND the team he plays for. Other than that, scoring is completely standard. Any thoughts or pieces of advice are appreciated.

Ok well I think there needs to be a couple of changes made here. You need to sit Brown because he won't do much vs the Bengals tonight. I actually like CJ this week vs the Jets because they seemingly can't stop the run very well. Montell Owens had a good game against them last week and I think this week CJ busts out of his little funk he has had. I also don't trust Myers after that debacle last week, but I couldn't fault you going with Myers over Bennett either.
