Which DST in week 16? WHIR

Currently I have Detroit D. I had a bad feeling when I picked them up last week, knowing they would be blown out in AZ. I also have Browns D on the bench. No way do I play either of them vs ATL and Denver, respectively.

Anyway, I'm looking at 3 DSTs this week.

INDY @ KC
SD @ NYJ
WASH @ PHI

Scoring: 1 pt TOs, 1 pt sacks, 6 pt ret/def tds, 6 pt shutouts (w/rapidly declining pts for increasing PA). Sacks are (slightly) relatively overvalued.

Which DST should I pick up this week?

I got the same kinda issues, but if I could get SD, that is who I would be playing. Idid just hear that KC might start Stanzi and if so a first game QB on a terrible team seems inticing!!!

I also like SD slightly over Wash. KC and Philly are tied for most giveaways in NFL with 34 (Jets are right behind with 33). Colts have only 10 takeaways all season, so I wouldn't use them. The Chargers have 25 and the Redskins have 26. I'm giving the edge to SD based on The McElroy Factor (not that The Sanchez Factor would have changed anything!).

I'd start Indy this week, hungry for a playoff spot. SD defense only if they were at home, but they're shaky on both ends, SD/NYJ could just be an ugly game.

I'd go with SD. Turnovers aren't valued that highly in your league, and you say points are decreased rapidly after the score gets run up. The Jets are an absolute circus right now (I'm a Jets fan...), and they're starting McElroy this week. Playcalling will be ultra conservative, and I can't see the Jets putting up more than 10-14 points with 250 yards of offense at best. Indy has a great matchup, but their defense really isn't good, and Jamal Charles is capable of ruining any fantasy D's day on any given play. I'd stay away from Wash, as the Eagles have played much better and turned the ball over much less since Foles took over.
