Need a Flex from these - WHIR 100%

Postby leffe186 » Thu Dec 20, 2012 11:09 pm

Hi - 18-team league, non-PPR, 1pt/10yds, 6pts/TD. I have the following positions locked:

Chris Johnson RB
Steve Johnson WR/TE
Cecil Shorts WR/TE

But I need one FLEX from the following:

Josh Gordon @ Broncos (I'm a Browns fan, so may go for him on principle)
Owen Daniels vs Vikings (TEs have let me down so much this year, Daniels has been no exception recently)
Jason Avant vs Redskins (trendy play, but too much of a long shot)
Mike Tolbert vs Raiders (nice matchup plus good chance of a TD - but no TD = bust)

Dennis Pitta (vs Giants) is still available as a Free Agent. Who do you fancy for FLEX?

Avant with the best matchup, Gordon would be #2 for me.
QB(2): Stafford, Rodgers
RB(2): Trent Richardson, Alfred Morris, Michael Turner, Sproles
WR(3): Miles Austin, Demarious Thomas, Lance Moore, Rice, TY Hilton
TE(1): Witten
W/R(1): Knowshon Moreno
W/TE(1): Hernandez
K(1): Rotating

Normally I'd put Daniels down, but AJ has been on fire with Schaub. I'd actually roll with Josh Gordon this week.

All of those guys have potential for a super bust day, so it's a tough call. I like Gordon the most, but I imagine he'll be getting the Champ Bailey treatment, which will really limit his upside. Even so, I imagine Denver runs away with this game early and Cleveland plays catch-up for a while, so based on sheer targets alone Gordon may have a productive day. I'd rank them Gordon, Avant, Daniels, Pitta, Tolbert.
