Postby warriorkidd5 » Fri Dec 21, 2012 3:02 pm

I still need more help on who to bench. Which one is the least safe play out of all of them?
Andre Johnson (vs. Min)
Demariyus Thomas (vs. Cle)
Dez Bryant (vs. NO)
Randall Cobb (vs. Ten)

This is the hardest decision I have had to make please any help is appreciated and I will help in return.

WOW, holy crap. This is a tough call.

Johnson - coming from a Viking fan, I think is going to be an issue for us. Just look at what B. Marshall did in his two games against us. (12rec w/ 92 yd & 10rec w/ 160 yds w/ 1TD) We have a tough time containing great #1 WR's and thats what Andre is. Plus he is a beast at home, 8+ receptions in his last 3 home games all with 118 yds or more.

Dez - gotta start him. This game should be a shoot out with NO and he has 6 consecutive games with a TD with 8 TDs total over that span.

This leaves Cobb and Thomas but I think I would go with Cobb here. Denver still has Decker plus a good ground game that could steal looks away from Thomas where as GB has really focused their offense around Cobb and they have no ground game to be worried about.

Help?

This is a tough one but either way you can't look back at your final decision, these are all must start WR's.

Good analysis, and I agree 100% I would bench Thomas.

This one is tough, hard to bench these guys as they all seem like must start players... If its PPR I think Thomas sits, should be seeing a lot of Joe Haden on Sunday + multiple offensive weapons the broncos may not rely heavily on him this week. If it's not PPR, and noting you don't get points for RET yds, Cobb is the guy you want to sit here.

Damn I'm just gonna gamble and sit Thomas he's had some bad chemistry with Peyton and a few drops so I'll just sit him. However, Haden usually only stays on 1 side of the field so I think Thomas still gets his catches, but seeing how it isn't PPR that doesn't really matter. I just have to go with my gut and thomas has let me down the last few weeks.
