Picked up a few different defenses to screw my opponent in the championships. Scoring for DEF is:

Sack 1
Interception 2
Fumble Recovery 2
Touchdown 6
Safety 2
Block Kick 2
Kickoff and Punt Return Touchdowns 6
Points Allowed 0 points 10
Points Allowed 1-6 points 7
Points Allowed 7-13 points 4
Points Allowed 14-20 points 1
Points Allowed 21-27 points 0
Points Allowed 28-34 points -1
Points Allowed 35+ points -4

Should I play:

MIA defense vs BUF
NYJ defense vs. SD
SD defense vs. NYJ

Thanks for the help.

SD - Going up against a 3rd string QB. Turnovers are in the air
NYJ - The Defense isn't that bad and are a very close second
MIA - Not depending on them. Too inconsistent.

I'm personally going with the Chargers D over Miami, but I don't have the option of the Jets D...

ALSO, I'm very nervous about this choice. McElroy is a VERY smart QB who won't wow you by any stretch, but also does not make stupid decisions. That's why he was perfect at Bama.

I think disgruntedjjetsfan makes a good point about McElroy and as another disgruntled jets fan myself, I agree. McElroy is not special, but I also doubt he'll be serving up sacks and TOs. Might not score a lot, but that sounds like a mediocre week for the Chargers D.

I like the NYJ D's chances of forcing TOs and sacks more with how much Rivers has been sacked and him being somewhat turnover prone the last two years. Faced with the same decision in one league, I'm going NYJ.

Just for the record, I think of myself as the opposite of biased, the Jets are awful, but that doesn't mean they're not the right play here.
