I think White and Wayne are still my starters at the 2 WR spots, but I am really on the fence about which of the remaining 3 to put in my flex. I am leaning toward Shorts given the matchup with a weak secondary and the likelihood of having to pass heavily in the 2nd half, along with the potential for big play bonuses from him. Amendola seems to be a safe pick with his PPR targets, but I think his potential is somewhat limited. Nicks is a complete wildcard right now IMO, hard to tell what kind of production he will bring.
It would have to be between Shorts and Amendola... Just NE D is playing lights out as of late... You know Amendola's gonna catch minimum 6 balls and going to get twice that in opportunities...so good upside there...
Looking at Shorts track record this last half of the season, I'd go with him... Beast!!!
This super bowl game happens to be a 2 week matchup, and I came out of last week down 8 points. Starting Roddy White tonight, I vaulted ahead by 21 with him getting 10 from Jason Hanson. So now that I have a 21 pt. lead for tomorrow with an equal amount of players going, I am feeling more inclined rolling with Amendola now. He seems like the safer play that will likely generate 10-15 points from the flex spot. Shorts has that tempting upside, but now I feel like being a bit more conservative to avoid a dud. Any other thoughts are greatly appreciated, and I will gladly help in return.
I think you start Amendola here. He's bound to get the targets and should have at least 5 or 6 receptions in this one. I think he is a must start with a wonderful matchup against the worst pass D in the league.
Thanks for your time and thoughts, it is appeciated!
I think I am sold on Amendola. Now I am starting to wonder is Shorts deserves a start over Wayne? Wayne has had a great year but the production has been in a bit of a tailspin as Luck has matured and started to read through the progression to other targets. Stick with Wayne who got me here or take a shot with Shorts?
Thanks for mine....either one is a good bet...jags r going to b slinging the ball a lot to keep up but Wayne has been solid all year but go with shorts....good luck
