QB: Tom Brady WR1: Demaryius Thomas WR2: Pierre Garcon WR3: Danny Amendola RB1: Doug Martin RB2: Knowshon Moreno FLEX: Ridley or Decker
I know my roster is Bronco heavy but its a good basket to put your eggs in. My decision comes down to Ridley or Decker.
Ridley @ JAX
PROS: going against league worst run D and should be killing clock by third quarter. Should get 20+ carries, strong bet for TD. Starting Brady so I SHOULD get most if not all of the Patriots offensive production. Don't have to worry about Brady getting vultured (unless its Vereen or Woodhead)
CONS: You never know what Belichek will do with his RBs. Could lose snaps because of recent case of fumblitis. All experts are saying his lack of playing time last week was more due to game flow and the Pats trailing in hurry-up mode (Woodhead's specialty). Doesn't catch passes (.5 PPR)
Decker vs. CLE
PROS: Fresh off a 8 catch 133 yd and TD performance. Peyton likes him in the redzone. Has almost identical stats as Demaryius Thomas. .5 PPR gives him a boost
CONS: Potential matchup with Haden. Haden has been playing sides as opposed to shadowing no.1s. Decker plays on his side of the field. Starting 3 Broncos limits overall upside IMO. The odds of Demaryius, Decker, and Knowshon all going off are not favorable.
12-team PPR QB: Cam Newton, Andrew Luck RB: Lesean McCoy, Darren Sproles, Marcel Reece, James Starks WR: Percy Harvin, Julio Jones, Eric Decker, Randall Cobb TE: Aaron Hernandez, Brandon Meyers D/ST: Rams (streaming) K: Matt Bryant
But dang, Haden just scares me, he could shut Decker down and result in a 2 catch 30 yard and that's that kinda day...
Honestly, if Decker is going to be faced with Haden all day, man, I gotta go with Ridley on this one and hope his Fumbleitis doesn't kick in because you know Bill is going to have a short leash.
Ridley hasnt been much of a factor the past few weeks with fumbles and sharing carries with Vereen and Woodhead. I favor Decker with the .5 ppr scoring.
