Jets D/ST vs Chargers OR Chargers D/ST vs Jets

This is my championship week. $800 at stake. Do I start the Jets D/ST or the Chargers D/ST and why? Will help all in return.

I would go with the Chargers D/ST because the Jets are starting a third string QB.

I don't personally think you can go wrong with either. The Chargers are gonna be stopping McElroy and Greene all game long while the only man of talent Rivers is throwing to has the best CB in football the last month guarding him and with Mathews out they're gonna have Jackie Battle with the makeshift running game. Jets also have a solid though not flashy return game. Overall I'd start the Chargers D, McElroy is unproven and Shonn Greene is closer to Michael Turner than Doug Martin this year.

I would start the Jets. Nearly every expert projects the Jets as a top-5 to top-7 defense this week, and with good reason. Ryan Matthews is out. Rivers can't pass against the Jets #2 ranked passing defense. Cromardie will shut down Alexander, and Floyd is out. Sure, the sledding will be rough for Greene and Powell, but I think Sanchez has a mini bounce-back game from last week's.... um.... I don't even know what to call that. The Chargers have the #18 ranked passing defense.

The Chargers have too many injuries. I go with the Jets DST. Good luck.

I would start the Chargers DST, and not because they will make plays, but because they will keep the Jets nearly scoreless.

Start the Chargers. They are going against the Jets 3rd stringer and should be able to force turnovers.
