And so the Lions season ends as it should. The D playing well enough to say they aren't that bad, all the while never making one game changing play. The offence played like it just don't care. Fumble here, fumble there, Stafford goofy angled INT and missed passes. Stafford inexplicibly sticking with the Schwartz maddening mantra of taking what the D gives you. Meaning that if they are doubling Megatron, go elsewhere. Never a fan of letting the other team dictate terms, but if that is how it is, so be it. But please explain why we never throw red zone to Calvin, never throw on BIG series to Calvin, yet our alternatives are to throw into tight coverages to lesser receivers? TD pass to Robiske who had two defenders all over him. Third and last chance to win game and incomplete to tightly covered Durnnum or someone and lets punt. It just doesn't make sense. Which is a fitting way for this season to end.
