It's playoff time! Feel free to forward this to other fantasy football fans... I know I don't have the most accurate list of people who have played in the past but this is what I have right now...



I'm running the playoff Fantasy Football again... This is the 8th year and it seems to get bigger every year... So here are the rules and scoring for 2011...



Entry fee is $12. 70% to 1st place. 20% to 2nd place and 10% for third place. ($10 a week for the weekly high score)



Here are the rules.



Pick your team. It must be made up of the following players.



3 QB's (Play 1 each week)

6 WR's (Play 2 each week)

6 RB's (Play 2 each week)

3 TE's (Play 1 each week)

3 K's (Play 1 each week)

3 Def (Play 1 each week)



Flex (don’t pick a player you just get to play one) (Play 1 additional RB or WR from the above roster) No QB/TE/K/Def can be played in the flex spot.



I need your full team and line-up before kickoff Saturday. I will take time stamped e-mails if I'm not home... My line up will be e-mailed to at least 5 other teams before kickoff... Not that this is an issue because I never win!

If there team is eliminated you lose the roster spot. No pick-ups or drops after the first game Saturday. Don't forget about the bye week for NE, Pitt, Chicago and Atlanta... Don't leave your team short a player in wildcard weekend by picking 3 QB,s TE,s K's, or Def all from bye week teams.......



Points are broken down like this...



fractional points are in effect. no minus points. Example... 37 yards rushing = 3.7 points 175 yards passing = 8.75 points



QB/RB/WR

Rushing yards = 0.1pt per yard

Receiving yards = 0.1pt per yard

Passing yards= 0.05 per yard

Passing TD's= 4 pts (over 50 yards = 8)

Rushing or Receiving TD's = 6 pts (over 50 yards = 12)

Throwing/Receiving/Rushing 2 pt conv = 2 pts

Individual Return TD's = 6 (over 50 yards = 12) (This also gets the special teams and defensive score) For example if D Hester returns a TD Chicago's... Def/ST and Hester get the credit.)



Kickers

1-39 yard FG = 3 pts

40-49 yard FG = 4.? (fractional point) (for example 42 yard field goal = 4.2 points, 47 yard field goal = 4.7 points)

FG over 50 yards = 6 pts



Defensive/Special Team Points

Shutout = 10 pts

1-10 pts = 5 pts

11-17 pts = 2.5 pts

Defensive TD = 6pts (over 50 yards = 12 pts)

Fumble recovery - 2 pt

Int = 2 pts

sack = 1 pt

Blocked Punt or FG = 2pts

Punt or Kick return TD = 6pts (Over 50 yards = 12pts)
