Yeah, keeping Kaepernick is the way to go here. I think you need him and Rothlisberger though since I don't see them both playing all 16 games next season. I also expect more realistic production from Kaep now that teams will have an off season to study game tape, but that just means expecting 250+ passing and around 50 rushing rather than 300+ and up to 100 rushing but even those numbers get you great fantasy production.
