****Playoff Fantasy Football****

Eight of us at work have created our own 8 team fantasy football league, which will be a manually done, non-PPR league. We're picking a new team every week, winner take all, no cash for 2nd place. If there's a tie for first place, the winner will be based on overall points, etc.

We're picking one position weekly, plus a W/R/T player. Here's what I have assembled, but constructive input would be appreciated.

QB: Aaron Rodgers
WR: AJ Green
RB: Ray Rice
TE: Dennis Pitta
WRT: Arian Foster
K: Shayne Graham
D: Texans

IMO, it's really a crap shoot between AJ Green and Andre Johnson. Your thoughts?

I picked Pitta over other TE players only because of rankings I've read. Your thoughts?

Adrian Peterson's a beast, but he's got some sort of abdominal injury and GB will key on him hard this week at Lambeau. Ray Rice and Arian Foster are playing at home - that was my reasoning. Your thoughts?

I suspect Seattle's defense will receive the majority of the selections, but I'm a bit suspect with them being on the road in Washington with RG3 and Alfred Morris coming at 'em. I chose the Texans because of JJ Watt rushing in on Dalton and Green-Ellis injured. Your thoughts?

I would prefer AP or Lynch over Foster this week

Yeah i wouldn't take Foster this week either, that Bengals D is top 5 over the last half of the season. For that reason i would also take AJ or Andre, both get force fed but AJ will be going against a worse secondary and he scores more.

For tight end i think Pitta is the right choice, although Owen Daniels and Rudolph aren't far behind. If the Bengals rush hard Andre wont have time to get down the field and Owen is the only option really past that. With Rudolph its hoping that they get down a bit early and allow Ponder to throw at least 25-30 times, if he does Rudolph will get you are least 3-4 catches for 50 yards and then hoping for that TD

I think you definitely go with Rice against that cupcake run D in Indy, if he touches the ball 20 times he will get you 100 yards and a score. For a second RB i would have to go AP, Packers will try and stop him but everyone tries to stop him. Their game has been one dimensional since Harvin went down and everyone goes in there trying to beat Peterson and no one does. If you dont like him then i probably go AlMo

Kicker i probably go Walsh and defense I think Texans or Bengals are the right pick, i probably go with the Bengals to be honest. If you take AJ you use Bengals D, if you go Andre then use the Texans D so you arent killing yourself

In retrospect, I'm going to plug in the Bengals defense in light of their performance lately, coupled with the Texans offense sputtering. I also moved Foster out and put AP in there.

We'll see what occurs!
