In a dynasty league where you keep your whole team every year and build through a rookie draft:
I just traded Benjarvis Green-Ellis for Frank Gore.

I know BJGE is younger, but Gore is still more productive and he's still a work horse for the 49ers who will always be a run first team. Green Ellis had a great last 4 games and still barely hit 1,000 yards he also didnt even average 4 yards a carry as Frank Gore averaged 4.6 yards per carry, so its no question who the better RB is.
But we all know that Gore is getting old, he'll be 30 next season, Green Ellis will be 28 next season.

Do you guys think I made the right move or not?

PS I have Adrian Peterson as my RB1, Gore will be my RB2

No need to second guess yourself. I don't see a huge discrepency between the two. Gore is older and has more wear on his body, but he also has much greater job security. I read a report today that the Bengals are looking for a more explosive RB. Explosive is the last adjective I'd use to describe BJGE.

I think you made the right move. Gore is a beast and the bengals... well, their the bengals. If they DO trade BJGE, who knows where he ends up. Gore is consistent and a SOLID RB2 for ya.

What you should be focusing on is trying to get a young RB to take his spot when he inevitably falls off in a year or two. Whether that's taking a shot on someone in the rookie class this year or trying to get an established RB who is young that's what i would do .

Agree with this. I like the trade for you, but you have two look ahead to the not-too-distant future.
