Need Keeper Help!

Postby felixthecat011 » Mon Feb 04, 2013 9:28 am

12 team standard scoring Yahoo league, keep 3.

My current keepers are Stafford, Megatron and Beast Mode. The first two I've had for two seasons, and there is a max of three consecutive seasons that you can keep a player, so this would be my final season to have them on my roster. Tough call, since I like Ridley a lot, as well as Dem Thomas.

Any suggestions appreciated!

QB Matthew Stafford
WR Calvin Johnson
WR Demaryius Thomas
RB Stevan Ridley
RB Marshawn Lynch
TE Greg Olsen
W/T Julio Jones
W/R Antonio Brown
BN Brandon Myers
BN Bryce Brown
BN Daniel Thomas
BN Brandon LaFell
BN Alex Green
BN Kris Durham

Well a couple of things.....

Higher than D Thomas or Ridley...I would take Julio......

I would put stafford back, QB is SOOOOO deep and keep:
- Megatron
- Julio Jones
- M Lynch

Good Luck!!

Agreed, Im sure you won't be the only one throwing a QB back this year and its a relatively deep position. Megatron and Lynch are the no brainers here. As my 3rd keepeer I'd take Jones or Thomas , can't really go wrong with either one.

Totally agree that Stafford goes back in. I would probably lean Julio, only because he has more potential to maintain elite levels for 3 straight years. I think I like Thomas better for next year though.

I agree. How long will Payton really be playing this well. Julio will be top 10 material for the next 5 years if he and Ryan stay healthy/together. That being said, if it's an option you might be able to trade Julio and Lynch for AP then keep AP, Megatron and Thomas?

That's an idea. The guy who has AP won our league, but his other keepers are Brees and Chris Johnson. Looking at his roster, he also has Roddy White, Mike Williams, CJ Spiller, but none of those guys compare to Jones in a keeper format.

Thanks!
