Dynasty League .5 PPR RB 1 PPR WR start-1RB, 2WR, 3RB/WR, 1 TE My team highlights- QB-Big Ben, Bradford, Foles WR-Dez Bryant, Jennings, Torrey Smith, Bowe, VJax, Maclin, Crabtree, White RB-Sproles, Mendy, D-Rich, Mcgahee, Ingram, Jstew TE-Witten We cut down to 21 players, from 26 plus 3 taxi squad players, fa draft is after 3 round rookie draft
Should I make this trade? I give- Vincent Jackson Jason Witten
I get- Jimmy Graham Brian Hartline
I get a slight upgrade as well in the free agent draft.
Graham to witten is a pretty bug step up but hartline to Vjax is a big step down too. I think you can afford it with your core of WR talent but that isn't the best reason to make a trade. That RB core is pretty depleted aside from Sproles so I assume you start 5WRs most weeks making this trade a little harder to make right now since nobody knows where Jennings and Bowe will wind up. If they land on a team with a QB you're in luck but if they end up in... JAX, MIA, NYJ, ARI... the list goes on, you could be in trouble. If you could wait to see how things shake out with some of your question marks that would be ideal. If you have to decide now... I say go for it. Then at least you have your TE locked up for the next 5 years.
I'd take the trade also. Graham has many great years ahead of him, I like him over Witten. You have enough depth at WR that the Hartline/vjax trade isn't as big of a concern. I'm guessing you start 4 WR regularly, and with it being ppr Hartline is a decent option as wr3 or 4, whereas vjax might be a wr2 or 3. I think you're getting the better value here, I'd take the trade.

VJax is probably closer to fringe WR1/2 than he is to WR3 in my opinion. But i agree with everyone that i would do this deal if i were you, just because of position scarcity. Your depth at WR proves the point that every season there are another 4-5+ WRs that pop up out of nowhere and cause the position to become even deeper. You have more WRs than you will ever be able to use, so the upgrade at TE is more important to your roster balance.
That being said i also agree with the poster that said your RB core is in need. I like this trade but i would much rather use that WR depth to leverage a trade for a RB if possible. You have a ton of potential, but a ton of question marks as well which is worrisome. Other than Sproles you dont have anyone i look at and feel confident about, you may have 4 starting RBs in that group or none.
