Value picks in the draft

Hello all... new to the forum, glad I found it.

I would like to hear who you guys think are going to be big value picks next year. You know, the ones that your not really going to hear to much about on the main media avenues.

For example: Alfred Morris last year. Nobody was talking about him during preseason (he was behind Royster and Hulu as far as exposure). However, if you had ever seen him play previously, you would of known that guys has what it takes.

Does anyone have any guesses on who those types are going to be this year?

Tough question to answer right now... In my experience, most of the "under the radar" types outperform their expectations due to situation. And situations on NFL teams are going to change a LOT with the draft and upcoming free agency.

One guy I am keeping an eye on is Bilal Powell... I am interested in what the Jets add/subtract in the offseason... But Powell might have a chance to be a workhorse back.

How about an entire position, QB. I think you are going to be able to very easily draft a starting caliber QB in the 7th or later. Micheal Vick is the one I expect to be the most undervalued.

I'd also keep an eye on Daryl Richardson this offseason. Sjax is done in St. Louis, and Richardson looked promising when he was filling in last season (4.8 ypc). I don't see the Rams pursuing a top RB this offseason, I expect Richardson to take over as RB1 for the Rams in 2013.

I agree, who and when the 10-14th Qb's are taken, should lead to some great value

I had a feeling Amendola would be a guy to watch during the free agency period. He's now replaced Welker in the slot for the patriots and I have high expectations for him. Welker wasn't a household name until he landed in New England, and with a healthy Amendola (cross your fingers) I could see the same thing happening.
