POLL: Biggest Surprise of 2013

Postby wtr23 » Sun Mar 31, 2013 1:35 am

I saw a similar post in another forum, so I thought I'd bring it here for discussion/debate. I'm interested to see what you guys think and why. If you have someone else in mind, offense or defense, make sure you reply here with their name and your reasoning behind it. Remember this is the surprise player of the year, please no posts about AP, Foster, megatron, etc. Have fun :-)

I like the idea of the poll.... I just wouldn't include Wilson in it, because I think he has a much clearer path to stardom than the other sleepers you included. Just my 2 cents...

Good point, went ahead and took wilson out but we lost all 5 votes that were cast :-D Still Plenty of time to discuss, poll runs until the end of August so make sure you vote!

I think Miller will have the best year just because he has the best path to success, assuming rosters stay where they are. Bush is gone which means he has the opportunity to take the lead, and Wallace is in which will keep defenses honest. Richardson is a close second but I'm not convinced Pead is out of the picture yet and with Amendola and Brandon Gibson leaving I'm not sure how dynamic this offense will be.

Amendola Im not sure you can really count as a sleeper, and even still I'm just not convinced he will stay healthy or have that chemistry out of the gate. Sanu will be a red zone beast but with AJ there his targets will be limited, still think double digit TDs are inevitable though. Josh Gordon is impossible to gauge until we get a better feel of their QB situation

All good option but im riding the Lamar bandwagon because it would benefit me the most. Picked him up in week 12 last year in both of my keeper leagues and just stashed him for this year, hoping it will pay dividends as he will only cost me a 13th round pick in both leagues

I'll go off the board and take a Rookie RB, depending on the situation they go to.....

I chose DA. He has been pretty good on a crappy team.

I like me some Sanu, but he is the only guy on this list that has a 0% chance of being the #1 guy on his team. I think he can be a red zone beast but his total catch/yard numbers wont be very high
