Dynasty trade - new to the board

Postby nate22 » Sat Jun 01, 2013 8:02 am

Hey all, will try and give all the relevant info to assess the deal...

Guy is a good friend and a mad Seahawks fan...

I give
Percy Harvin
Pick #30 Rookie draft (with FAs too)

I get
#4
#16

I also would have picks #6 and #18 to work down in the order to secure a top rookie WR/RB combo.

I currently have AJ Green, Harvin, JGordon, KWright and MFloyd at WR, with Rg3, Richardson, Spiller and Ballard.

Non PPR...pull the trigger, get some more back or call it all off? He has some WRs I can work in potentially to get some value back Britt, Cruz, Decker, Givens, NWashington.

Welcome to the Cafe ;-D
I view Harvin as a tier 1 WR in dynasty, so I would need quite a bit more back then two high rookie picks. Harvin has plenty of upside due to the upgrade from Pondor to Russell Wilson. I would need at least Cruz and a pick to trade Harvin.

I'd trade Harvin for Cruz AND a topish pick that's a steal for you honestly. ;-D

I wouldnt make that deal. At the 6 spot you should still be able to get one of the top 4 rb's or top 2 wr depending on who falls. This year all 4 of the those top RB's have an equal chance in the NFL. If Austin or Hopkins falls you are still smiling like the butchers dog.

Hold on to what you have. ;-D

Hairvin has problems staying on the field... Don't like those kinds of players, so I'd try to move him. Ask if he'd throw in Givens...

Yeah, your team is too weak at WR after this trade for it to be worth it. If you could do a Harvin and #18 for Cruz and #4 as a start and see what he says that might be a little better for ya. You'd still get your top RB/WR combo but not sacrifice your team this year to do it.

I agree with Duffoholic here. You gotta get a good starting WR back if you are going to deal Harvin. I don't see a problem moving Harvin, but I wouldn't take a loss doing so. Get Cruz in the deal and it's a good deal for you plus he gets his beloved Seahawk haha.

Can you help with mine?

What other RBs does he have? I love that you would be getting Dez, but I'd prefer to get something a little better than Ridley in return for T-Rich especially since you are giving up the better pick too.
