keep alfred morris or cj spiller?

Postby alphawolf » Thu Jun 06, 2013 12:19 pm

I play in a 10 man ppr league. You can only keep one player and he will count as the round you selected him the year prior. My two best options are cj spiller but would give up my 10th round or alfred morris and give up my 17th round. I feel like both are great options. Trying to see others thoughts. Thank you.

I like Morris for you, later round and greater potential (in my likely biased opinion!)

Spiller has a ton more potential, especially in PPR, but I'd keep the value of 7 rounds and roll with ALF

This is tough. I dont think you can go wrong either way.

Spiller should put up more points in my opinion but Morris wont disappoint with RGIII getting less carries. I think the value of the 7 rounds is worth it to take Morris. There is plenty of value to be had in the middle rounds but at 17 you are taking the scraps. The difference between that should overtake the difference between Spiller and Morris if there is any at all ;-D

Spiller will more than be worth a 10th round pick in PPR. He should be a top 3 back if he stays healthy. take him and just target ALMO in the 1st.

Welcome to the Cafe! This place has a lot of great info, so hopefully you'll stick around. ;-D

I don't think you can go wrong either way, but because it's a PPR league, I'd keep Spiller over Morris. I think he's more talented, and I think he's a solid RB1 in PPR leagues, while I think Morris is more like a high end/mid RB2 in PPR leagues. Depending on where you pick, you might get Morris back in the draft, but I doubt you get Spiller back in the draft unless you have a very high pick. I think that losing your 10th rounder for Spiller isn't a big deal because you should have the majority of your starters (if not all of them) drafted by then. Good luck! ;-D

Both are awesome values, but I would go with Spiller. He has top 3 potential, and a 10th is cheap to keep him. Grab another back in the first (maybe Morris), and you should be good to go.

Good value for both, but I'd take Spiller in the 10th easily.
