Keep 2 - AndreJohnson, VinceJax, LarryFitz

Postby howhao » Mon Aug 19, 2013 12:28 pm

I am in a 12 team keeper league that allows us to keep 4. My other 2 keepers are Doug Martin and Dave Wilson. Standard scoring (6pts all TDs, 0.5ppr).

Which 2 would you keep? Thanks.

Keep Jackson and Fitz. Jackson was solid last year and Fitzgerald will be huge teamed up with Palmer.

Don't get me wrong, it's real close sd Vjax barely edged out AJ in points last year in our league, but I give the edge to Vjax for two reasons. 1)AJ is 32 now while Vjax is two years younger 2)Schaub seems to be regressing

I agree with everything he said.

I would still take Andre Johnson over VJax. Schaub is still a better QB than Josh Freeman. Also the addition of Deandre Hopkins only helps open the field more. Andre is a beast and all the down talk on him is just silly this year.

Fitz is def one of the two. Good luck deciding, I just think VJax is not consistent enough season to season.

Which draft picks are each of the WRs going to take from you?

I think all three are really close and could see arguments for any combination of them.

Fitz: One of the best WR in the game, and an almost certain future hall of famer, who finally has a half decent QB throwing to him for the first time in a while. He has really high upside but might be dealing with a lot of double teams if they can't get the running game going in Arizona to keep defences honest.

VJax: The guy had a GREAT season last year and I see no reason why he shouldn't duplicate. All the same guys are there on that offence and as long as Martin is such a huge threat in the backfield, the field will continue to open up for the passing game.

Andre: Getting a little older with a suspect QB BUT with a solid ground attack and another weapon in the passing game in Hopkins. He remains a consistent receiver who should put up solid stats.

Personally, I think I go with Vjax and Fitz as I think Andre with lose some touches to Hopkins and I think the other two guys have higher ceilings. Andre is a safer pick than Fitz or VJax IMO.
