Marshawn Lynch handcuff

Postby Chibears » Mon Aug 19, 2013 7:59 pm

Christine Michael or Robert Turbin? Both are similar to Lynch...they seem to run like they're pissed off. Turbin has an extra year under his belt. Lynch is my stud RB and going to drop Jonathan Franklin to make room for either Michael or Turbin......unless you think Franklin is the man if LAcy gets hurt?? Thinking Lacy's handcuff is DuJuan Harris. Thoughts?

I think Turbin will be his backup. Turbin is one of those guys who will go somewhere else and be a feature back when his contract is up.

I think that Harris will be the backup in GB.

Turbin is the incumbent, and he remains the backup
A. Luck, M. Vick
A. Morris, S. Ridley, D. Williams, L. Miller, W. Mcgahee
B. Marshall, Julio Jones, S. Smith, S. Johnson, E. Royal, M. Brown
J. Thomas, G. Olsen
D. Bailey

Harris is definitely the backup in GB, but i dont think there is a clear backup in Seattle. If Michael continues to look good in the preseason and lynch happens to go down i think it will be a timeshare backfield. It might be something like a 60/40 in favor of Turbin but really I dont think you will want to start either of them if Lynch goes down. It will likely be a bit unpredictable who will have a good week that week and with their division being as unfriendly to the run as it is I dont know if i would feel comfortable relying on either one.

That being said Franklin can be dropped and if you dont like anyone else out there then Turbin is probably the one to have. I would rather take a chance on a guy like Helu or a WR with some upside but if you are set on a Seattle RB take Turbin.
