Possible Trade Offer

Postby noxb » Tue Aug 20, 2013 1:45 pm

A team in my league wants a player of mine and wants me to tell him what I want. I have built this team pretty well and don't want to mess something up with a trade. It's a 10 team PPR with the following format:

QB
RB
RB/WR
WR
WR
TE
FLEX ( RB, WR, TE)
DEF
K

He wants D Thomas and wants to hear what I want, just want your guys opinions on what I should ask for.

My team:

Stafford
Peterson
Sproles
Nelson
Thomas
Ruldoph
Forte
Steelers
Crosby

Bowe
Shorts
Vereen
G. Bernard
Michael Floyd
A. Jeffery
Palmer

His team:

P. Manning
Richardson
Ivory
Wayne
Moore
Tamme
D. Williams
Seahawks
Gostkowski

With no one worth mentioning on the bench.

Just wondering what you guys would want for D. Thomas. Thanks!

Thomas, Jeffrey and Palmer for Wayne, Seattle and Gostkowski. Then you dump Pittsburg and Crosby and get ready to pounce on a couple yet to be known hot FA's after the opening weekend. IMO that makes your team better.

Stand pat. Your team is better than his at every position save DST and QB, IMO. You're not going to be able to land anyone from his roster that will put up the numbers Thomas will.

I'm not a fan of the trade the guy above me proposed at all. Throwing away two WR's (one elite and one with high upside) and a QB (albeit a replacement-level QB) for a downgrade at WR, a defense, and a kicker is not a good move, IMO.
