Hartline or Patterson no PPR WHIR

Postby wolfbear702 » Sun Sep 01, 2013 1:09 pm

STD scoring...start 3 WR.......NOT a PPR league

Julio Jones bye 6
Steve Smith bye 4
Torrey Smith bye 8

Brian Hartline bye 6
Kenbrel Thompkins bye 10

Should I drop Brian Hartline and pick up Cordell Patterson (bye 5)? Which would you rather have on this team?

I would drop Hartline and pick up someone better in another position that you need. However, if you're only taking Hartline or Patterson absolutely keep Hartline. While Patterson potentially has more upside, Hartline has chemistry with Tannehill and Wallace will draw a lot of coverage. So I would hold off on dropping Hartline for now, until you see how they both play in week 1. With that said, if you're in to gambles, as I said earlier Patterson has more potential upside and if he blows up its better to have him now before anyone else gets him.

Stay with Hartline for now. I don't trust Ponder.
