How did I do in my 12-Team, PPR Draft? WHIR

I had the 3rd pick in my 12-team, PPR league. The starting lineup is: 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 1 Flex, 1 K, 1 D/ST. I could have gone with a 2nd WR in Round 4 (i.e. Danny Amendola, Antonio Brown, Hakeem Nicks) but felt the value of getting David Wilson was too good to pass up. I also knew WR was pretty deep and grabbed some potential sleepers. I'm a little thin with my depth at RB, but I'm hoping to trade one or some of the WRs on my bench for an RB as the season progresses.

Round 1: Jamaal Charles
Round 2: Chris Johnson
Round 3: Larry Fitzgerald
Round 4: David Wilson
Round 5: Rob Gronkowski
Round 6: Torrey Smith
Round 7: Tony Romo
Round 8: Josh Gordon
Round 9: Chris Givens
Round 10: Michael Floyd
Round 11: Alshon Jeffery
Round 12: Golden Tate
Round 13: Joique Bell
Round 14: Zach Sudfeld
Round 15: Randy Bullock
Round 16: Browns D/ST

Here is what my starting lineup will look like when Gronk returns:

QB: Tony Romo
RB: Jamaal Charles
RB: Chris Johnson
WR: Larry Fitzgerald
WR: Torrey Smith
TE: Rob Gronkowski
Flex: David Wilson
K: Randy Bullock
D/ST: Browns
BN: Josh Gordon
BN: Chris Givens
BN: Michael Floyd
BN: Alshon Jeffery
BN: Golden Tate
BN: Joique Bell
BN: Zach Sudfeld

You took the words out of my mouth with your self-analysis.

I agree with the David Wilson pick and would certainly have made the same decision were I in your shoes. I would've liked to see a RB in rounds 8 or 9 where you grabbed Givens and Gordon, but in a PPR league WRs are certainly flex-able. Your best bet, like you said, is to wait until during the season to trade for some RB depth. If someone of the Gordon, Givens, Jeffrey, Floyd group catches fire you could package one, or move Torrey Smith and slot the hot starter into your lineup.

Overall, great top end PPR RB talent, some interesting WR depth, a solid pocket passer with weapons, and a good TE combo.

Good luck ;-D
