Gronkowski for Bush?

Postby fn1cn2 » Mon Sep 02, 2013 1:38 pm

Just had our draft, and I went running back heavy to start. My roster and league info is posted below. I was offered Gronkowski for Reggie Bush. I'm weak at TE and with the news that he is practicing, it is somewhat enticing. Can I make it work with Sproles and Woodhead as my bench rbs? Leave a link and I will help with yours.

Roster
QB: Romo, Cutler
RB: Charles, Wilson, Bush, Sproles, Woodhead
WR: Welker, T. Smith, Shorts, Michael Floyd, Hopkins
TE: Eifert, Kelce
K: Hartley
D/ST: Rams

Lineup/Scoring
1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WRs, 1 TE, 1 WR/TE, 1 K, 1 D/ST

6 points all TD's
1 point 25 passing yards
1 point 10 rushing/receiving
Non-PPR

I almost want to say that you need a QB upgrade as I can't stand Cutler, but for some reason I like this trade. It's DEFINITELY a gamble, but the payoff can be well worth it.

Sproles could be almost worthless in a non ppr. Trading bush leaves you very thin. However bush is also ranked higher in ppr. Its tough but gronk could be a stud by week 4. Is def a risk but the greatest risk is not taking one

Didn't see the non-PPR..I'm indifferent on the trade honestly, but yeah, it's probably worth it to just keep Bush for depth. Then again, if Gronk comes back week 3, I see the upside in having Gronk over bush. Honestly, your call here, it's too tough.
