Starting RB Dilemma (WHIR)

Postby Xezus » Mon Sep 02, 2013 2:39 pm

10 team H2H non-PPR

QB-Stafford
WR-Calvin Johnson
WR-Fitz
WR- Steve Smith (CAR)
RB-D. Wilson
RB- MJD
TE-Graham
K- Prater
DEF- GB

Bench- Andrew Luck, Chris Johnson, Deangello Williams, Givens, M. Floyd (ARI), Hopkins

Having a very tough time deciding who to start between Wilson, MJD and CJ. Deangelo is a tier below all 3 IMO but still has the bulk of carries in CAR.

Week 1 MJD has KC which seems like a no brainer to me... so its a toss up between CJ at PIT or Wilson at DAL. Both decent D's but not great.

Luckily our draft had some weird picks flying around so i feel like i have a very good team. Feel free to grade/critique me haha.

Go Wilson. I think they go to him early and often in that game.

MJD, Wilson, and CJ...not a bad trio to have. I say go with MJD and Wilson. I think CJ will bounce back this year, but Wilson is a gonna break out. Help with mine? viewtopic.php?t=536972

Wilson scares me. He may go 80 yds one play and fumble the next. I would go with CJ because I don't think the Gmen will run with much success against the Cowboys.

I'd say Wilson over CJ. Pittsburgh's getting long in tooth, but still a good D, and I'm not 100% sold on CJ.

I agree that Mojo is a no-brainer. At RB2, I'll go against the rest of the responders and say CJ over Wilson. CJ has looked great in pre-season and the Titans' offense should be much more run-focused than NYG's. I think that means he gets more touches than Wilson, and he's just as explosive IMO. That said, I don't think either would be a bad choice--this is a good "problem" to have ;-D .

I may still be a little pissed at MJD for holding out last seasons training camp then missing the last 11 games of the season with some sort of injury but I would bench him and go with Wilson and CJ. The Chiefs defense probably aint that good but the Jags offense will still suck and the defense will focus on stopping MJD. All Wilson and CJ need is a little seam and they could bust an 80 yarder on any carry. I think CJ will get plenty of chances to produce and hopefully bust a long 1 and the Giants passing game will only help Wilson find some running room.

This us just funny since Wilson only had one fumble last year.. I'd go Wilson and MJD, CJ is a nice option but probably not getting goal line carries and I think Pitts defense is probably a little stouter then Dallas'
