Postby jonesy37 » Mon Sep 02, 2013 9:17 pm

Below is my lineup and its the first time using a flex spot. Is it better to put an rb or wr in at flex?? Who would you stick in at flex???...10 teams H2H .5 pt per reception...WHIR!!!

QB - RYAN, SCHAUB - START 1
RB - CHARLES, FORTE, L MILLER, B BROWN, R HILLMAN, J ROGERS, D THOMAS - START 2
WR - JULIO JONES, COBB, T AUSTIN, M AUSTIN, TORREY SMITH - START 2
FLEX - ??????
TE - PEDDIGREW - Plan on dropping for Seifert
K - HARTLEY
DEF - PACKERS

Thinking of going with Miller as my flex, but what about T Austin, M Austin or T Smith???....WHIR!!!!

I like Lamar Miller and then miles Austin. I think Chris Givens is going to be the playmaker on the rams early on over tavon.I still feel Miller will get opportunities to score. Miles Austin will benefit from Dez being the near best wr in football. Austin is healthy ,experienced, and looking good right now.Dallas Te. may take away some targets away. Its just my opinion. Miller to me is the choice. He's got talent and could easily produce. Miller could be rookie of the year. He's worth a one game gamble to me. Miller's backup sucks so near everybody but the dolphins say. Look at doug martin and last years wash. rb Morris. Miami might get lucky this year.Miami could be keeping Martin on the down low so no one sees him coming. The Miami fans I've heard say Daniel Thomas really sucks. He evades contact. I've heard a lot of bad stuff about Daniel Thomas by a lot of writers too. Just my thoughts on the matter.Hope it helps . Good luck.

I say Smith.... Flacco' s main target for this season. Unless, of course Ray Rice catches 80+ balls.... Not out of the realm of possibility.

Miller, Torrey is more of a 3/70 type player, Miller should see plenty of work and be can catch passes as well. I'd rather go with the sure touches that Miller will give you over the boom or bust type production you get from a guy like Torrey.

I'd give Miller the slight edge over M. Austin.

I have had the most success using a RB at flex if I have a viable option. I think Miller is a viable option and should get plenty of opportunities to produce.

QB Ryan
RB Charles, Forte
WR Jones, Cobb
Flex Miller
TE Pettigrew
K Hartley
Def Packers

Thanks for helping with mine...

If you have 3 capable backs, I'm starting a RB in the flex. WR has more upside, but a starting RB is less likely to put up a goose egg. Torrey Smith is a great option at WR3, but I'm only playing him in a good match up if it means benching Miller.
