Dec 15 Clinton Portis had to be helped off the field in Sunday's overtime win against the Browns, but X-rays to his ankle and knee were negative. Afterward, Portis was seen on crutches in the trainer’s room. Officially he is listed with a high-ankle sprain and sprained knee and it is unlikely that he will practice this week. His status for Sunday’s game has yet to be decided. If he isn't able to play, Reuben Droughns and Mike Anderson are ready to step in. “I'm ready to do anything," Droughns told the Rocky Mountain News. "But Mike Anderson is a 1,000-yard rusher, too, and very capable of stepping in there. Just because we lost our star running back, we're not just going to lay down."
Does anyone know what his status is?
And what are the chances that he will play this weekend?
