my internet connection ruined me

I waited until the last minute to bench McNair, at about 10:50 mountain time, and when I tried to go in and change to my backup Jeff Garcia, I couldn't get onto Yahoo's site, and I went without a quarterback.............

I then ended up losing our semifinal match, and if yahoo's site wouldn't have been down I would've had time to switch to Garcia and would've won to put me in the championship.....

that is the worst way to lose ever.

one piece of advice for people never use yahoos site the last 30 min before game time, it never works. I have this problem nearly every week. I was trying for 20 min to pick up onterrio smith yesterday, and never was able to do it because the site never works then. Pisses me off. Sorry to hear that

I had the same problem. McNair being a game time decision, could not log in to yahoo to change to Volek. Yahoo claims you can edit your lineup 5 minutes before the kickoff. Lesson learnt, do it 5 hours before kickoff.

Luckily I won convincingly by a huge margin of about 41 points. He has Chambers to go. I must be the luckiest person, to enter the Super Bowl with 0 production from the QB.

But I agree yahoo sucks and made me upset and tense till I got a huge margin.

I always (usually) err on the side of caution. If a guy is questionable, I bench him on Tuesday or Wednesday. If anything changes and I think he is worth starting hurt, then I'll switch it the last minute. No matter what, I'm not stuck with a guy not playing (unless it was K-Rob in the beginning of the year and NO ONE knew he was benched for the game)...
