Roster rating?

Postby JT Money » Wed Sep 04, 2013 2:25 pm

12 man league. No ppr.

1 QB
2 RB
2 WR
1 W/R
1 TE
1 K

My team
QB: Rodgers, Bradford
RB: Foster, Steven Jackson, Montee Ball, Ben Tate
WR: Reggie Wayne, Brian Hartline, James Jones, DeAndre Hopkins, Greg Jennings
TE: Gronkowski, Bennet
K: Josh Brown
DEF: Denver

Thoughts? What do I need to strengthen? What can I afford to trade away to make that happen?

I really like the team. Rodgers, Foster, Gronk is a really strong QB1, Rb1, TE1.

Going QB & TE early hurt you at WR some. You'll have some tough flex decisions unless someone like Montee Ball or DeAndre Hopkins really impresses from the outset.

From a trade standpoint, if Gronk does get back early and has a big game and you can trade really high on him it may be worth it with Bennett on your bench.

Overall though, really nice team.

I also like your QB1/RB1/TE1.

I like Bradford this year, he could end up being a top 10 or 12 QB when the dust settles this year.

I'm a little leery on Steven Jackson this year, he just keeps getting older and older and I don't think he's going to be too productive in Atlanta. I really like that you handcuffed Foster, if/when he gets injured, Tate will step in as a stud RB1 with no problems.

I think Wide Receiver is your weakest position. If Bradford starts performing well, I would consider trying to trade him for a WR2. Or like Broham said, maybe moving Gronk will net you a WR2 and also a RB2.
