12 team PPR league

Postby pcmIV » Thu Sep 05, 2013 11:30 am

I was really really surprised how this draft turned out. It is usually a pretty competitive league with a fair bit of money at stake so I was amazed at how well I think my roster turned out. Is my team as stacked as I think?

QB: Romo
RB: Martin
RB: Forte
WR: Marshall
WR: Bowe
TE: Sudfeld
FLEX: David Wilson
D: Texans
K: Dawson

BN: Antonio Brown
BN: Vereen
BN: Jared Cook
BN: Bernard Pierce
BN: Rueben Randle
BN: Alex Smith
BN: Harvin

I had the 3rd overall pick and was shocked to get Forte at the end of the 2nd round, even more shocked to get Marshall in the 3rd and I practically fell out of my chair getting Wilson in the 4th.

Pretty nice team, I don't love your QBs but you make up for it in depth at RB & WR.

I would start Brown over Bowe, at least until we figure out how Bowe and Smith work together. Speaking of Smith, surely there's a better QB on the Waivers that can serve as a better back up. Smith isn't going to be lighting up the score board with the Chiefs this year.

I think your TE's are going to be boom or bust. Cook is always overrated, and if gronk comes back 100% Sudfeld will probably be an after thought for Tom Brady.

But really that's just nitpicking, your RB's and WR's will carry your team all year for sure. Especially with Wilson in the 4th, what a steal!!

I agree with everything Diefer87 said except the following:

Two things to remember:
  • Tennessee didn't know what to do with Cook. Now he's in St Louis and it looks like he might fill the Danny Amendola role. Nuff said there.
  • Sudfeld is a rookie, but he has the natural ability to fill in for Gronk until he returns and then roll into the Aaron Hernandez role. Huge upside potential there.

Chiefs not named Charles always make me nervous. That said, I think Smith will be a good fit in Andy Reid's new "dink and dunk" game plan. How that will affect Bowe is anyone's guess.

Overall, rock solid 12 team roster.

Start Brown over Bowe...I think Sudfeld might be a little overhyped. But otherwise, great team. Should be loaded at RB and get a great season from Romo IMO..

Help please?
