Preference: M. Forte or C. Johnson

Who would you prefer to have on your team this year?

Matt Forte
RB who has the skill to produce and should benefit in Trestman's offense as a receiver out of the backfield and in the running game. Apparently will get more goal line carries this year which should up his value greatly. Can he stay healthy? Probably. He should be game for at least 1300-1400 total yards with upside. Hasn't had a 1200 yds on the ground since his rookie year and has only eclipsed 1,000 yards on the ground three times in his career. His receiving abilities are what make him a legit fantasy option. In preseason he has looked much quicker. Is predicted to up his catches to the 80+ range and should put up numbers.

Chris Johnson
A guy who once ran for over 2,000 yards and is probably the fastest at his position. The last two years have been quite the underachievement, partly due to his indecisiveness caused by happy feet and the lack of holes the offensive line was providing for him. In 2013, the team made key additions to the line in Levitre(G) and drafting what was the most talented player in the draft Warmack(G). The titans mad moves to improve the line which now looks to be one of the strongest in the NFL. CJ2k has looked quick, fast and the vision seems to be back. The holes look to be present and he could be in for another monster season in his return to his former self.

Leave some dialogue as to why you chose who.

I prefer Chris Johnson. He has higher upside (not that I think he's getting 2000 yds again). Even with a disappointing season last year he was 13th. Forte finished 1 spot ahead, and no one is talking about him having a bad year.

Chris Johnson's offensive line last year was considered one of the very worst in the NFL. They should be drastically better this year by adding Chance Warmack and Andy Levitre.

Matt Forte should be featured even more in Marc Trestman's offense, but in my opinion its more of a risk. No one knows how that new offense is going to perform in Chicago.
